If you haven’t seen “Bridesmaids” yet, you need to RUN TO THE THEATER NOW AND SEE IT. It’ll make your abs hurt from laughing so hard. Seriously, it nearly de-throned Moulin Rouge of its coveted title of my “all-time favorite movie of all time”
It’s THAT good.
Like, I NEVER pay to go see movies. I can wait for the netflix or redbox copy in most cases. But not this movie, I’ve paid to see it TWICE. And I have plans to go again next week. It’s THAT good.
See for yourself:
Seriously, RUN TO THE THEATER NOW. FASTER.
I just finished Eat Pray Love and, let me say, I thought it was beautiful. Julia Roberts did a phenomenal job, per usual.
I have not read the book, unfortunately (now on my amazon wish list…) but i thought the story was brilliant and inspiring. I envy Liz’s courage to up and leave her life to find herself. With everything I’ve been considering and feeling lately, this story really made me want to travel and truly experience life–immerse myself in the unknown….
“In the end, I’ve come to believe in something I call “The Physics of the Quest.” A force in nature governed by laws as real as the laws of gravity. The rule of Quest Physics goes something like this: If you’re brave enough to leave behind everything familiar and comforting, which can be anything from your house to bitter, old resentments, and set out on a truth-seeking journey, either externally or internally, and if you are truly willing to regard everything that happens to you on that journey as a clue and if you accept everyone you meet along the way as a teacher and if you are prepared, most of all, to face and forgive some very difficult realities about yourself, then the truth will not be withheld from you.”
Flipping channels, I caught the tail end of a SATC episode and this line:
“Some people are settling down, some people are settling and some people refuse to settle for anything less than butterflies.”
How is SJP so wise??
Now watching: Cinderella
